Size referenced is for the pole diameter. Our aluminum flash collars are all 12″ in diameter and have a .060″ wall thickness. May have a minor imperfection on the side caused by the anodizing process.
How to Measure Your Flagpole for the Right Collar Size:
Many people wrap a rope or tape measure around the base of their flagpole to get the size — this gives you the circumference, not the diameter.
âś… To find the correct diameter (the number you need for the collar size), simply divide the circumference by 3.14 (Ď€).
Example: If the rope around your pole measures 27", divide by 3.14 → your pole has a diameter of about 8.6", so you’d want a collar that fits a 9" pole.
