Beaded Retainer Rings - For 5" to 12" Diameter Flagpoles | Made in USA
Beaded retainer rings are used to keep the bottom of the flag close to the flagpole, reducing movement, wear, and strain, especially onΒ internal halyard flagpoles.
These rings attach to the lower portion of the flag and travel with it as it is raised and lowered, helping guide the flag smoothly while preventing excessive flapping or wrapping around the pole. They are also commonly used on large, multi-grommet flags on both internal and external halyard flagpoles, where added support helps reduce stress on the flagβs upper and lower grommets.
Each ring is constructed using 1" diameter solid nylon balls strung on 1/8" stainless steel aircraft cable, with a stainless steel thimble on each end secured by dual copper crimps for strength and durability. A stainless steel quick link is included for easy attachment.
How Retainer Ring Size Is Determined
Retainer ring size is based on the diameter of the flagpole butt.
To determine your flagpole diameter:
-
Measure around the flagpole (circumference)
-
Divide that number by 3.14
The length of each retainer ring is measured from the outside tip of each stainless steel thimble.
